Hey, I'm totally innocent here...I'm not the director of OnePlus Global that posted just a few months ago that approx 90% of users want to keep the 3.5mm plug, or used the fact of OnePlus having 3.5mm plug in marketing for the last years as a jab vs Apple

I don't understand all the people complaining about a 3.5mm jack. I am thinking no more broken wire's and intermittent mono/stereo. They got rid of the old tech weak link. Bring on the future.

They made fun of others for removing it just to do it themselves. And I want a headphone jack, I use it on my OP6 every day. You can get way better headphones for the same price compared to Bluetooth headphones. And don't get me started on the dongle mess Android has.

BT headphones cant even reach 1000kbps, and to get anything better than 500 you NEED to buy expensive 200$ sony shitphones with like 10 hour battery. if you remove the 3.5mm jack, at least give me good usb C headphones. bye oneplus, hello LG

I understood they might be making use of the usb c for headphones. So you may have the option of a usb-c to 3.5mm adapter. So you might be able to have any earphones you want.

But we don't want stupid dongles that cost money and will get lost when we can just have a perfectly fine audio jack.

I am sure I'm not the only one who hates earphones that go in the ear, like the bullets... Most BT headphones are like that, sadly.

Hallelujah. Thank you. All those in ears are aweful. And the worst part is. Most of the headphones are like this. I'm always buying the Apple headphones because those are pretty much the only headphones I can wear for a long time.
