    The newsroom spin is always to over-dramatise and play for ratings: that's why it's best to avoid news broadcasts wherever possible and concentrate on substance

    Headlines like 'MUTANT COVID' help absolutely nobody and nothing. It's almost like bad news gets more attention. Changes happen. who is an expert in this field says - 'there is currently no cause for panic.' I agree with Francois. Caution, not panic.

    Exactly right: Paul Cook's record does not compare. Other favoured fan options - Pearson, Howe! - utterly unrealistic

    Fuck it,on reflection I’m fully behind Pulis. Quality record,and a goals a goal when it’s going in net regardless of wether it’s from 60 passes or from one long ball into box. How anyone can criticise the mans record is crazy. He’s a winner and hopefully what we need.

    Parry is not only incompetent but dangerous. The EFL clubs need to stand up to him & get him out quick before he does irreversible damage. I still believe his priority is Liverpool & other big clubs, not the ones he represents

    I mean, where do you begin with this? God forbid Labour makes the case for family values (!) & shares the patriotism of blue-collar Britain. The patriots who actually built Labour -rather than leading it to the worst defeat for nearly a century- will be spinning in their grave!

    It's depressing that the opposition doesn't realise that by repeating your opponent's frame (nationalism, family values etc), you don't steal their votes, you just strengthen their narrative. If voters go into the polling booth thinking 'Britain first' and they'll vote Tory.

    The EFL are incompetent. They fuck up then overly punish the club to cover up their mistakes. The same with Bolton, Bury, Wigan and now Wednesday.

    It has been revealed that Wigan Athletic's owner enquired about putting them into administration before he had even completed his takeover. What on earth is the point of the 'fit and proper' test? Farce.

    Campaign slogan: level up Government action: level down. This sums up the exams fiasco in the UK but also a general weakness in the Johnson administration. They simply have to get smarter people in the senior ranks and stop putting people in power based on loyalty test
