The Omnic Post - Overwatch news

When November of 2017 came around my wrist wasnt better but the team needed me to cover the OWWC. Thankfully @MissSugarpixie @HatterChess @thepokeflute sat in a discord call with me as I ranted about each teams play and the results so they could ghost write a recap for the games

We eventually started to cover the @overwatchleague and we started with a preview of each team. I wrote about 5 or 6 of them I was that passionate about the beginning of Overwatch League and writing. I helped start @omnicesports one of the most popular fan pages for esports news

Then we got the one of the nicest people I have ever met @LonzPonz. He came to the team having to write articles on his phone, but he was so passionate about it that he never said no. I knew that LP was gonna be the person that was going to make Omnic Esports huge.

Then came @HanaMcMana and @MoggyDrake. They came and changed the Omnic Post forever. They made our family complete. Hana literally sparked the fire in me to make myself a better writer and person. Moggy always has been able to make me laugh no matter how I am feeling.

LP and I covered OWL in many different forms from live blogs, daily recaps, and weekly recaps. We eventually got into a groove and pushed out Overwatch League content like hot cakes. Eventually our team grew and the esports that at one was just me was now a whole team of people.

About halfway through the OWL season I started to deal with some mental health issues. I tried my best to push through them and I did for a month or so. But eventually I couldnt take it anymore. I was sleeping all day from shear exhaustion from how much I was crying every night.

But I still didnt tell anyone. I let my team down when we started recording podcast. multiple weeks i would force the team to postpone recording because I couldnt get out of bed. Eventually I knew that I had to take a step back and focus on getting better for me.

So I did. I temporarily quit writing for @omnicpost. But as I said we were a family so everyone was very supportive and helped as best they could. A few months pass and August comes around. I started to get better mentally and asked if I could come back to the team.
