I know it's only anecdotal but about the shade thing, my bro-in-law's whole fam is light. Cousins Aunts everybody. And they're mostly from the South, so all of the stereotypical ish is there but so many are aware/woke. Live primarily in PGC ..top 5 communities for rich AA.
