    This video has reminded me probably more than anything else when I was part of the force occupying Iraq. Specifically when "using" a house as an OP when we knew the residents were innocent. Zip ties, separating family members, calm demeanor. Police are an occupying force.

    It's a basic first aid kit meant to care for*you*. It is not a replacement for having a corpsman's kit. Of course it most works if everybody is wearing one which is not expected in a protest scenario

    Obv. If someone got shot or w/e and they were without an IFAK I'd use mine. But it's a good general practice to have your own first aid strapped to you

    A thing about IFAKs (individual first aid kit). In the MC, they drilled into our heads is your IFAK is for if you get shot and don't use it on someone else. I know the context is different in a protest scenario, but it's best if you have your own IFAK regardless of your role.

    Dear comrades reading this, it is more important to stop bullets (plates) and plug holes (Ifak and medical training) than it is to have a gun. Please consider investing in NIJ lvl 3 plates and a medical kit before arming up. You will save more lives, maybe your own. ❤️❤️❤️

    Wolf predation on black bears is rare from April to August as we have only documented 3 instances in 6 years. But there is an intriguing increase in wolf predation on bears in September and October in our area. The reason: recreational black bear hunting. (1/8)

    Tim Pool got his start as an Occupy livestreamer who turned his camera on the bloc. His lust for power and embrace of the status quo led him to the far-right. In Hong Kong livestreamers who filmed the bloc were treated as snitches to the CCP, blocked with umbrellas and attacked.

    Appreciate all the love for this speech. But I think the reason it’s resonated for a decade isn’t cuz I have any particular talent but simply because I’m speaking as a socialist. It’s popularity says far more about the revolutionary potential of our class than it does about me :)

    I remember seeing this video for the first time. Anti-war veterans like literally helped describe how I was feeling. Showed how we can take on this fight and inspire me to this day.

    Just boggled that people are so out of touch with country life that they look at these pics and think “poverty” because there’s a dumpster and the drive isn’t paved 🙄
