Quite disappointed with both The Stanley Parable and Gone Home this weekend. Both over hyped for me and the idea has been done better...

@olliecoe Which games do you feel did it better, out of interest?
@ashtonraze SP reminded me of Portal (The idea of breaking out of a "game world") and that was much better. Preferred Dear Esther to GH too

@olliecoe Fair calls there! I much preferred GH to Dear Esther personally but a lot of that's down to tone/plot I think -
@ashtonraze I really liked GH up until the end. The game really built tension all the way through and the pay off was a huge disappointment

@ashtonraze Felt SP had no real depth. Any interesting idea but not really entertaining and again felt Portal addressed the ideas better -
@olliecoe I've not actually played SP yet, just the original mod, which i think was a fair bit different
