This has been two years in the making! The largest release we have done, by far. It has been a titans effort, from the incorporation of a company, to finding a sustainable model, to growing the team over 10 people. I'm so proud of the team 😍

If you can't handle controversy, you'll never outperform. When organizations limit controversy, they unknowingly limit innovation and drive the employees who create the most value out. When individuals can't endure controversy, they sabotage themselves.

Great progress on MUI X! This release includes experimental support for data grid row grouping, the first premium feature. We are still navigating how to execute well on the MIT vs. Paid split. We aim to lead the MIT space while sustaining rich features and outstanding execution

This feedback in MUI's developer survey is energizing 🥰. "Keep producing those unstyled components, @mui/base is great. I use MUI about 75% for the function of the components and only 25% for look & feel" Still, we plan to x2 the effort on the look & feel this year vs. 2021 😈

WCAG 3 will use a new color contrast method called APCA (Advanced Perceptual Contrast Algorithm). It's a big improvement over the current system but there are a lot of changes to get your head around. 🧵
