Aaaand today a government agency (DIT) needs more time to determine whether it can disclose communication between a minister and a lobbying firm. DIT is among the bottom 4 government agencies when it comes to granting FOI requests.

The UK government response rate to FOI requests is appalling. Just had another request - for a list of attendees and minutes from a meeting between a big company and politician - kicked down the road

The best thing about switching your web search to ChatGPT is then the people who put all this info on the web don't get any credit and you have no idea how reliable the info is since all sources are jumbled into a giant opaque probability distribution. Oh wait, that's terrible.
