    Tier 3 is a massive blow to culture and hospitality - they need rapid government support at this critical time to stay afloat.

    The negative impact additional restrictions will have on jobs and businesses struggling to stay afloat is of huge concern. We urgently need more government support for the sectors of our economy being hardest hit, including hospitality and culture.

    Today we remembered all those who we lost on that awful day four years ago when a tram crashed at Sandilands and all those who were affected by the terrible events.

    On this day in 2016, 7 people lost their lives and more than 60 were injured in the Sandilands tram derailment. At 11am led a socially-distanced civic ceremony at the town hall to remember this tragedy and pay tribute to all affected by it. – at Croydon Town Hall

    The Croydon Tram Crash inquest has been delayed until Spring 2021, it has been announced. The families are “frustrated and upset by this latest postponement”. The fourth anniversary of the tragedy is on Monday (November 9).

    For me, as for many people in New Addington and Croydon, the US election results bring back painful memories of the Croydon tram crash. We will never forget those who died. I will keep pushing for new laws and safety measures to prevent a similar tragedy from happening again.

    Due to demand we are opening kitchen today and tomorrow for reduced hours 11am until 2pm. Enjoy and thank you for the love and kind messages. ❤️ Coffee, pastries and cakes etc are still as per our normal hours 8am until 4pm until lockdown xx

    The consultation on the planning white paper ends this week Today, I’ve joined planning leads from across Ldn in writing to to express our concern on the proposals Many are simply unworkable, threaten local democracy & the delivery of genuinely affordable housing
