Saint Paul mayor says nearly everyone they arrested last night was from out of state. We need a deep dive into who they are, where they come from, what kinds of organizations they represent or support.

“The whistleblower isn’t the reason [Trump] is facing an impeachment inquiry. Trump only has his own actions to blame for that.” Trump committed impeachable offenses by extorting Ukraine for political gain and urging interference in our elections. He gave us the proof himself.

This is wonky until you've been ripped off by a business or your employer steals your wages - and then told you can't go to court. Important step forward today for workers and consumers, but Sen. McConnell will need some convincing...

This would not be great for the whistleblower, whose job and clearance would be in jeopardy, but the nation needs to know what they've reported - and we can't rely on the Trump Administration to follow the law, which already required the DNI to share this info.

If the acting DNI continues to stonewall efforts to learn about "credible" & "urgent" information from a whistleblower, the House can ask the whistleblower to testify. If they refuse due to fear of prosecution for sharing classified info, the House can vote to give them immunity.

. and I decided the Nats needed some extra oomph down the home stretch, so we're calling up a player to be named later. Baby Girl Olinsky joins our team in February, just in time for spring training, and we can't wait to meet her. 💕💕💕

White and red onesie that reads "Cutest Nationals Fan," with a handwritten red and blue sign: Player to be Named Later Baby Girl Olinsky, joining our team February 2020 (yay!).

We adamantly reject the Administration’s ongoing blame game targeting immigrants and community for the weekend’s horrific acts of violent white supremacy. 1/8

THREAD: Today, House Democrats will keep their campaign promises with a vote to raise the federal minimum wage to $15 per hour. Trump—who has failed to deliver on his own promise to raise wages—should take notes.

In Washington state, new overtime rules would give 400,000 workers higher wages. And it's not the only state taking that important step.

If while I worked at CIA I had ordered a subordinate to reach out to Russia via Wikileaks or Guccifer to see if they were up for cooperation, an espionage investigation would have been opened on me.

Sessions it out and Whitaker is in b/c Trump needs someone to obstruct the Mueller investigation: it's getting too close to him and his inner circle. Mueller needs to be given full independence, just like they did after Nixon's Saturday Night Massacre.

This so called Executive Order ending citizenship for undocumented immigrants is hogwash. It’s settled law that if you’re born here, you’re a citizen. That was intentional and written into the Constitution. And you can’t just sign an Executive Order that runs counter to the law.
