Agree. Read the affidavit linked in tweet below. In a nutshell, the alleged plot was to infiltrate a US gun group with financial influence/control over a certain party and change its "thinking" about Russia. May be why many chose not to run.

From all the tepid responses, I truly think not. They should be done as a political party. Every journalist, every researcher, every historian should dig up as much on them as possible to make that so. I'm sure there are plenty of conservatives who can make up another party.
