I lived under Russian "peace" (bombs) in Aleppo. I witnessed Russian "diplomacy" in Geneva. I, and millions of Syrians were directly affected by how the west allowed this to happen, and because of that free pass, we have crisis.

Boy, completely misunderstands Ukraine. Their reporters say that the further Russian troops head west, the more hatred and resistance they will see. I assure you, we are one people and that resistance will be the same everywhere.

This is a historic moment. If Putin escalates his invasion of Ukraine, the repercussions will be catastrophic. A horrifying human cost, massive economic upheaval, and the end of the international order as we know it. Everything will change

  16. Come on, ! "If anyone could figure out what Putin wants"? He wants it all. Ukraine, other neighbors under Russia's control. America defanged on the world stage, with Russia taking its place. He wants everything and there is no reason we should be entertaining his aspirations.

If you think it's not scary, it is scary. Ukrainians thought they have somehow managed to simply carry on during all these 8 years. But the fear is here. Always. For everyone and everything one loves. One day fear becomes your invisible companion and you learn to live with it.
