Just submitted Pythonista 1.5 within Apple’s 48h deadline. “Open in” menu integration is gone, I hope this is enough.

@olemoritz What about iCloud or DropBox integration within the app? Would that be allowed?

      2. Ole Zorn ‏@olemoritz 16 Jun 2014

@geekraver No, that would almost certainly not be allowed.

@olemoritz Maybe its doable in Python itself? It need not be bundled but could provide a solution. See for e.g. http://sixlette.rs/blog/2013/02/16/gister-for-codea/ …

@geekraver Dropbox would definitely be doable, but not iCloud.

@olemoritz Good luck. Are they OK with scripts added via iTunes?

@ClarkGoble I don’t really know, but I don’t think so (DiskAid always works though).

@olemoritz As the creator of @choosyios, what was wrong with Open In? Wonder if Choosy even has a chance if they have policy against it...

@AlexDaUkrainian They don’t want any way to import executable code. As long as you don’t make a programming app, you’re fine.

@olemoritz the idea that they wouldn’t get on the phone (proactively) with a former Editor’s Choice is really frustrating.

@olemoritz I understand what you need to do to keep the lights on, but it is silly. Good luck.

@olemoritz Does import by scripts still work? (e.g. using https://github.com/bevesce/Seamless-Dropbox …)

@olemoritz best of luck, but I'm sad to see the integration going. I'm working on a git client and hoping to use your apps as editors
