@olebegemann I regard updateConstraints as the place where the full layout is described, i.e., all constraints are added, if not in IB. -
@osteslag Well, in the WWDC session I linked to they say we shouldn’t do that. -
@olebegemann Right. I guess you still *can*, as long as you don’t keep adding. I prefer describing the layout in only one place.

@MisterJack@olebegemann Usually easy to test what needs to be done without using dedicated properties. Test on private subviews, not self.
