wow this made me realize how much housing/structure influence our ability to create community & the affects it might have long term on a cultural level if no one has strong ties to a specific hometown etc anymore

Exactly. It’s so hard to feel a sense of community when you don’t even have a sense of stability there. It’s hard to find a home like this

I feel this! also the cost of rent can often make it unaffordable to spend much money in local spaces that would help connect w local community. my peregrine moon rules my 3h, and while I'm resourced, my local space feels foreign to me bc I can't afford to go out (even pre c*vid)

Getting a bit nostalgic for “mom’s house”. ;)

To clarify, “mom’s house” is signified by “strangers, milling about, not speaking to or caring for each other.”
It’s been a LONG TIME coming, & I SO tried to navigate, tolerate & ‘handle’ Sat ☌ Plu, her’s (1947) as well as transit 2021 *trigger!* Cause Virgo can fix this! - Show replies

Are we sure this isn't by design? If you don't know your neighbours, you're more likely to go out & buy a hammer for that one project, rather than ask to borrow your neighbour's hammer Community & working together is bad for capitalism - isolation means individuals spend more $
