    I hav been to Doha, I hav lived in Dubai, I hav been to Abu Dhabi several times and these are places with Oil yet I have never seen a truck parked on the road neither have I seen trucks with Gas at normal working hrs. Our Gov officials visit these places yet they dont have sense.

    Oh-oh! I have argued this severally. Accidents do happen in the night. In fact, the chances are higher. Being night doesn't reduce the number of casualty. If anything, it tends to increase it because humans are less active and less alert at night. We need safety standards!

    For 20yrs, we are yet to fix Lag-Ib expressway. 104yrs as a nation & 58yrs of independence, we don't have a functional rail system connecting all states capital in Nigeria. The world has moved on but we still choose to live in stone age.

    The VP is more or less Lagos citizen. He is always quick to pay condolence visits & conduct on the spot assessment. We know he will soon be in Lagos. But do we need to reverberate before the President deem it fit to visit Lagos?

    In a sane clime, with yesterday's carnage, our flags are supposed to he flown at half mast today. But get to Lagos Island right now, it's business as usual, as if nothing happened at all. Some people were victims ystday, it could be anybody today. Nigeria, pray.
