    This is madness: do the same again and again and expect different results. Returns on German foreign investments have been consistently abysmal and lower than domestic returns and yet here we try again sending 300 billion abroad.

    Again a massive capital export in 2019 — 7,6% of GDP — and thus a huge increase in 🇩🇪 risky net foreign assets. If only a part could be canalized into domestic investment, this would solve a number of our problems. And the world would be a safer place.

    Refreshingly honest of the Telegraph to reveal that they weren't reporting news, or informing their readership but rather waging a war against the EU for 40 years.

    Brexit would never have happened without the Telegraph. It fell to me, as the Sunday leader writer, to tell the story of the Sunday Telegraph's war against the EU - which goes back decades. I found an editorial calling for a referendum in 1990.

    Many people use "like" as "let me bookmark that", companies like this provide all your likes to future employers and grade you on how acceptable they are. It conflates your likes with your tweets which might prove hugely awkward with employers.

    Apparently there’s a company called “Fama Technologies” that scrapes your likes and tweets and uses some kind of algorithm to gauge how problematic you are
