Quite a few of the APIs work that way. It's pretty annoying and I've often resorted to piping into foreach and the same command again to get the full details of the resources I want.

I'm only noticing this now after a few months of intensively using it -- I actually started writing scripts combining data from

Isn't this one of those "we autogenerated our PowerShell module based on an API spec and we're really proud of it" modules? Those always seem to lack the necessary QA and oversight to make sure what they're doing makes sense.

Annoyingly the -VaultName parameter is required for the full object, just the -ResourceGroupName param is not enough. In my scenario there is only ever 1 key vault per resource group, which makes it even more annoying because I have to query twice
