I kind of wish someone reimplemented all the good parts of GNU tools without all the awful parts in a codebase that isn't the depressing mess that is GNU code like busybox but without any particular focus on minimalism, just on eliminating brokenness
I haven't looked at the busybox code base for a while, but last time I did it was ... not very good. And I had to look closely because I had to fix multiple segfaults.
