There are days when I seriously consider going back to using mutt as my mail reader.
I never stopped. :) But its quite annoying with the high number of HTML mails with embedded images and all that. I forward a significant portion of my mails to my gmail account so I can read it more easily.

Having a "html2md" filter in mutt's mailcap goes a long way to fix that. Good solution for images would be nice.

Now if only I actually knew a decent one written in a language whose idiom isn't "paste together 100 random low-quality libs from a package repo"...
