Oida wtf! Linux conference that requires speakers to submit using their legal names (i.e. deadnames for those who don't use their legal name), which is then made *public*. Apparently the reason given has something to do with "criminal hackers".

I'm using the name "Clifford" for almost 25 years now, but it was not my legal name before 2008. I've presented at many conferences before I legally changed my name and published book chapters and in conference proceedings as "Clifford Wolf". Never had a problem with that.
