.@ico_TC Question: The 16MB SPI flash is used to program the FPGA chip, I'm assuming. However, I'm also guessing that it can be used to supply firmware for soft-core CPUs as well. How does this actually work? How do you avoid conflicts between these two use-cases?

Also, how does one program the flash image? I'm guessing you generate a bit-stream file first, then your firmware image, dd if=/of= to composite the two files into a single binary blob file, and then program that file via the icoBoard tools?

icoprog has a -O N option that can be used to specify an offset (in steps of 64kB pages). See "icoprog -h" for complete help message.
