To think "It's not a gun problem, it's a bad people problem" means to think that statistically the US has the worst people in the entire world. Apparently the country is a cestpool filled with (mostly white!) mass murderers. And some, I assume, are good people.

So? How is this an argument for or against gun control? If anything it is an argument for gun control because at the time of the Holocaust Germany had much loser gun control laws then now and back then there was a Holocaust and now there is not. 1/2

But of course that's not a resonable argument. In fact I don't think there is a resonable argument to be made with regard to gun control legislation by citing Nazi Germany. But you brought it up. That's why I'm asking you to explain to me your argument. 2/2

I brought up the Holocaust as an illustration that mass murder has never been a particularly US problem, but rather it is a sad reality of humanity. Indeed, mass murder isn't the result of "guns"--it's been taking place for thousands of years--long before "guns".
