To think "It's not a gun problem, it's a bad people problem" means to think that statistically the US has the worst people in the entire world. Apparently the country is a cestpool filled with (mostly white!) mass murderers. And some, I assume, are good people.
And regarding the Holocaust: Is this a serious argument? I'm not even sure what exactly the argument is here. Could you explain it to me in more detail?

So? How is this an argument for or against gun control? If anything it is an argument for gun control because at the time of the Holocaust Germany had much loser gun control laws then now and back then there was a Holocaust and now there is not. 1/2
