Hot take: "age of the captain"-style problems should play a major role in math primary education. Especially problems that have a unique (but nonsensical) solution when applying naive dimensional analysis.

Not funny. And I think that's only because we (society) are doing a terrible job at math education. One of the worst things we do is that we train students to solve exam problem, not teach them how to use math to solve real-world problems.
