Today I found a store that sells actual real bread ... I think I have never eaten so much bread in one sitting before. ^_^

Thanks. I actually live pretty close to the one on Bascom. Which type did you like? I'm curious to try it. And have you ever tried that really simple NYT "no knead" bread recipe? Curious what you think about that.
I just bought the most bland rye bread they had. (When people hear me complain about bread in the US they often think I want something fancy. I really don't. :)
