Through my carrier I trusted
@cliff_cummings advice. He uses async. He is less categorical and more specific about async / sync reset design practice: http://www.sunburst-design.com/papers/CummingsSNUG2003Boston_Resets.pdf …1 reply 0 retweets 2 likes -

Are you seriously criticizing my "most trivial hill on which you are willing to die" tweet for not being as thorough as Cliff Cummings SNUG 2003 paper? (That spans 38 pages, most of them outlining gotchas with async resets.)

Yes,
@cliff_cummings never said "bad practice", he said "has gotchs". "Further more, the authors prefer to use asynchronous resets following the guidelines detailed in this paper" -- p.2 paragraph 4. -- http://www.sunburst-design.com/papers/CummingsSNUG2002SJ_Resets.pdf …1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes
