If you want to feel real pain you should try to install packages w/ cabal on @archlinux w/out tweaking your .cabal/config.
Learning Haskell. So far I love the language, but most of the error messages are super confusing. All I understand is "it doesn't work".

A common thread in Haskell. Understand that it's a language that was created to test some theories about PL, not to make a usable language.
