There are special places in hell reserved for those who map _anything_ at 0 if they have an MMU. If they don't, they just deserve sympathy.
What's with those who actually built the MMU-less processor they are using and decided to put the sram at zero? #askingforafriend

(Mapping the SRAM at zero has the advantage that I can address it with the zero register, so I don't need to spill another reg as pointer.)

Of course, it also invalidates perhaps the most common paradigm in C programming - 0 as the invalid, or NULL, pointer. Is it worth it?
