That's what I was thinking. Do you have a source? Digikey only lists PCB mount BNCs that are female, I need a male.
Hmm.. Okay.. That's odd.. I can see what you mean.. Male connectors are unexpectedly hard to find. I might only have used females this way.

I ordered that or something very similar. I'm fine with the nut as I'm not planning on having a housing around my board (twist lock is OK)
