There might be some 8 bit chips w/o UB. Nothing modern. Certainly nothing w/concurrency as part of arch.

Agreed. I *think* there is no UB for a single RISC-V heart (spec v2.2, "heart" is RISC-V lingo for HW threat -> no concurrency).
