I would take out the "If possible" and direct questions to stackoverflow or subreddit and bugs to github.
In some cases it is not possible because asking publicly would violate NDAs (mostly that's people using Yosys for ASIC synthesis).

I'd guess in those cases asking privately is also violating an NDA, but at least there is no public record of it then.. :)
