I find it extremely ironic that we have multiple FOSS ASIC synthesis workflows but only one FOSS FPGA workflow and it's for a toy
Does @latticesemi know that you think iCE40 is a toy? I hear they are easily offended by the things we FOSS people say and do.

I love to be considered a toy. Because then I am not considered a danger, and no resources are used against me.

I don't feel it's a toy. But it's also not a heavy-duty FPGA family either. Spartan-series buries it in features and speed.
