I know they are pretty common in Texas and I did come here to make new friends, but that was not exactly what I had in mind.
Just seen a cockroach IRL for the first time in my life. They're huge! I'm so freaked out right now... Is it okay if I burn down this house?

The thing that surprised me about cockroaches was that they can fly. Some species, anyway - the ones we encountered in Hawaii certainly did.
