I can understand that you would like to use the whole screen. They decided to give you a smaller screen on the low end devices. 1/
But there are no wasted $$$. What they did is cheaper than actually using a physically smaller screen. 2/2

I disagree. By removing a Feature from their Platform, instead of putting 6', they've wasted $$$$ in both HW, SW dev and Customer Experience

6' with menus on/off would've earned them way more Customer Satisfaction ! WAY MORE. Aside saving on SW dev and modifications, and bad rep.
