I'm aware of the reason
@RigolTechUSA do like everyone else, but that's not EXTRA Value. It's a good example of wasted $$$ and lost Users.
If they would use a smaller screen that would probably make the scope more expensive because they would only use it in one product only.

I can understand that you would like to use the whole screen. They decided to give you a smaller screen on the low end devices. 1/

Still they did not ADD EXTRA Value to the 2000 Series, they REMOVED Value from the 1000 Series. And again K-KK range Rigol barely stands ;-)
