Yes! SUMP2 HW could use SW with protocol analysis like @sigrokproject . I am ready to support SigRok team on this.

Just wondering... has there been any progress on SUMP2 in sigrok? I can't install pygame using msys2, so I'm not able to use BML's GUI :/.

If you support SUMP over UART,
@sigrokproject should already support this via the OLS driver. Try it! -
SUMP2 is not SUMP. SUMP2 protocol streams RLE compressed data over UART, not raw samples.

The world really needs a standard like SUMP for USB HS or SS. Slowness of UART-over-USB cripples the OLS.
