Xilinx support: Vivado only supports Ubuntu 16.04, not Ubuntu 16.04.1. I don't even know where to start...

It probably doesn't help you now, but we found Vivado and ModelSim work in a 50GB CentOS VirtualBox VM.

I have it working under 16.04.1, but as upgrade not fresh install. It's frustratingly fragile. I will be trying Docker.
