Well, it's official: that triple-HDD crash caused me some lost information. Kids: one backup ain't enough. Two weren't in my case... :(
next time: off site backup, not using same HDD vendors, and using HDDs with at least 6 months difference in production date.

yes, yes and yes. I have hit the jackpot of bad luck with this really. And quad backup for really important stuff saved most data.
