there is no common word for it, afaik. My wife (from the UK) calls it "power bar", she picked up that term in Canada.
I just forgot how to English and asked: "Do you have the thing that you put in a power outlet so you have more power outlets?"

I'd say "multiple outlet strip". "Power Bar" may get you one of those horrible tasting things that supply a different type of energy
