So why not have every vendor use their own VLNV in the first place...
Also: If both vendors use the same bus VLNV but provide their own XML, which XML do I use in the system?

If e.g. ARM provides AXI definitions for IP-XACT then everyone should use that of course.

But until then I'm fine with vendor A having AXI bus definitions in the A namespace, and vendor B in the B namespace.

To make this work, it would require a single def for each bus, which is why I want the bus owners to supply the definition
