By the way, does anyone have a clue why uname -i return x86_64 on Ubuntu and GenuineIntel on my Gentoo machine? It's super weird
Why not simply use "uname -m"? That should return "x86_64" on both machines.

It's just that the Vivado installer uses uname -i to check the platform, so I have to hack it every time I reinstall vivado
