ah, RecarNet, of course - do they still compile? Makes me think of the KaraNet code incident ;-)
Most of it still compiles. A lot of warnings with modern C++ compilers. And a few errors as well. 1/

Most of the errors seem easy enough to fix. But it seems like the mysqlclient API has changed.. 2/
