@cr1901 My first PC was a 2nd hand Schneider 8088. Was not very impressive compared to the Amiga.. I think that was around 1990.

@oe1cxw 8088's were still useful in 1990, but def were on the low-end IIRC. My favorite CPU is prob the 286 b/c it was so unappreciated XD. -
@oe1cxw CGA was a hack; designers took a text mode CRT controller and initialized it with a small rows/character setting to mimic pixels!
