I'm thinking about giving up golf. The transphobia is unbearable. It's not that they are unfriendly, they just use every opportunity to signal me that in their eyes I am _obviously_ not a woman, and it's been really bad for my mental health. I just can't have that in my life.

That sounds like bullying to me.
We are so close to them telling me directly, "NO! We are not transphobes! How can you dare accuse us of something like that? We just don't think you are a woman!"
