I'm thinking about giving up golf. The transphobia is unbearable. It's not that they are unfriendly, they just use every opportunity to signal me that in their eyes I am _obviously_ not a woman, and it's been really bad for my mental health. I just can't have that in my life.

I'd definitely drop this particular club/clubs. If there are more welcoming places in the world it can be a chance to travel more in the future (post pandemic). Put your well being first, hobbies should be enjoyable and stress free.
