The laptop webcam is pointed at my desktop so Claire can see it. But now I can't see the laptop screen any more, hence the mirror, with which I can simultaneously look at the webcam feed of her screen. (The wrong way around, not that it matters at this point

And for anyone interested: When you zoom in to the mirror you can see my setup: I had XCOM running in a window, and next to it another window with the feed from my USB webcam, with the built-in laptop camera filming the whole screen with both windows.
