I like how you wrote 1.4 kcal/min but then used a more accurate number for calculating the kcal/day.
But.. is it possible you made a typo and used 1.43375.. kcal/min instead of 1.443075.. kcal/min? It's the only obvious explanation I can find for that 1 extra kcal.

I calculated per minute with round(100 * 60 / 4184), then calculated per day with round(100 * 60 * 60 * 24 / 4184). The "per minute" figure was probably not necessary.

Waahh. /o\ I meant 1.433075.. kcal/min of course. Transcribing numbers is hard.
Where did you get 4184 from? The SI definition according to Wikipedia seems to be 4186.8. Are there conflicting definitions of kcal? (I would not be surprised.
