Silence of the Lambs. When I have a bad day my brain still goes "this is how they see me", remembering scenes from that movie.. esp bc they have that bit about them trying to get GRS and failing bc "wants to be a woman but is not a transsexual" [by their standards].

I think in most cases it's actually "just" lazy writing, which arguably is even worse. Spreading hate because one hates a group is bad enough, but spreading hate because everyone's doing it and one simply doesn't care and can't be bothered to come up with something original. Ugh.
