I don't understand how prison abolitionists think violent criminals should be managed. I mean, there are people that are violent. And it's not just them, like, people that would sell their mother at any chance. What about them? Idk, I may look for info out of curiosity

I'm not saying prisons are a solution neither. How would you solve the case of a serial killer that finds sexual pleasure only in the act of killing? Would you put him/her in an asylum while we don't have the means to fix his/her brain? Isn't an asylum like a prison?

Or someone that finds pleasure in dominating violently others, like in the case of many policemen we've seen these days. Maybe some of them are like this since before getting brainwashed it's the only way to manage problems
